Biography

Arok India is an Alternative Rock band from Kolkata, India, active since 2011. Blending alternative rock with Indian musical influences, the band is known for its energetic live performances, original music, and emotionally driven storytelling. Their debut album “Kobor” (2013) was nominated for Best Bengali Band Album at the Mirchi Music Awards. After a creative hiatus, the band returned in 2026 with a reimagined version of their single “Chayapoth”, following their 3rd Place finish at the Bengal Business Council Presents Talent Showcase by Talentwala in December 2025.
